MY SEA TEACHER BATCH 6 STORY (PSRU THAILAND)

it was Sunday and we had nothing to do. All boarding students comeback to their house, so it was no class, and the cafetaria was closed too. so in the morning we went to 7 eleven and took our brunch there.   we bought ice cream with these stamp and 5 baht of money!  after that i just stayed at my room and streamed Sea Games. in the night i prepared for my final demo teaching.

today we went to souvenir shop. It behind temple Budhachinarajj.  it was take about 20 minutes to go there from school. teacher Nutch drop us there. we bought a lot of souvenirs! after that we walked to Topland plaza, it near the souvenir shop. just 5 minutes of walking. we took our brunch by KFC. we bought KFC the box, it cost THB 139. and it was very very good! before comeback to school, we took some photos in Budhachinarajj temple. 

in the morning i help Ary to teach in Mathayom 2.  after that we went to library. it was our first time to go to there :D the library was very good. we found a lot of English book there, so we took some book and read it there. there was some computers that can use by student to help them study too. after lunch break i observed teacher Petch class at 6B. i help her to check students writing. all i did was check their spelling and punctuation.

today i help teacher Petch to taught student the new material, which was: Can for ability;lets. i made my mini lesson plan and gave it to my mentor Teacher Adel to review. I prepare a powerpoint to teach, but there was a problem with the projector or my laptop so i can't use my powerpoint that time. and then i decided to just teach with what i remember, and fortunatelly the class was very fun because i invited students to communicate with me, and i let them to tell their ability (what they can do and what they can't do). after that I observed at teacher Petch class again. it was prathom 5B. in this class the material to learn was article (a, an or the). first, teacher Petch reviewed student's vocabularies by dictation after that she gave 10 new vocabularies to students. after that she taught students about article and then students did workout in their book. students had to present about their family in front of class.  this was my lunch. rice with bamboo sho

This was my breakfast.   the activity at school was same for everyday. today I observed Prathom 4B, in teacher Petch class. for warm up, teacher Petch was reviewed student's vocabulary by technique spelling. first all of students stand up and teacher Petch spelled a word and students guess what word it was. students that can guess it correct, can sit down. the activity was fun because all of students must be participated and there was a competition there. after that teacher Petch taught students about preposition of place. every students had to present their house. I help teacher Petch to give score to the students.

these were my breakfast. letuce soup with chicken and 2 toasted bread.  my observed today was on prathom 5A, teacher Petch class. today teacher Petch gave warm up activity to the students by said-and find game. teacher Petch let all the students to stand up, students who can answer can sit down.  teacher Petch said a word and students had to find it on their dictionary, teacher also asked about the meaning of that word in English.  it was fun activity and students enjoy it.  next activity was review vocabularies with dictation technique.  after that teacher Petch was review about the using of article.  in the afternoon the school had Science day. it was the activity of science which students form Mathayom help their junior to understand about science. some groups of booths displayed the product of science and groups of students from Prathom will visited all the booths.

today i observed teacher Brown class. teacher Brown is Indian, and she is 60 year old. she had 20 years of teaching at AIT of Bangkok. one of the best school in Thailand.  today teacher brown taught at Prathom 5B. and i decided to come to her class and observed her. teacher Brown teach "Let's go" it is an English conversation class for Prathom 4,5 and 6.  Teacher Brown has very good skill of control students in her class. first thing that she did was introduced herself because it was her first time teaching in this class. second thing was make agreement with her students. she had 2 rules for her class. 1. listen when teacher speak, so did teacher had to listen to student when student speak 2. speak English only on her class. no Thai language  teacher Brown than gave students tricks how to improve vocabulary. and she lead students to make pocket dictionary, so students can check for their vocabularies every time, and it can be enter the word bank in the

this weekend, boarding students had to stay at dorm, so did we all the student teachers. the activity was same, started at 06.30 to get breakfast. but the different was no flag ceremony for weekend. the class start at 08.30 and just for Mathayom class. they have 3 main subjects for their weekend class which are: English, sciencce and math.  that day i was observed at Mathayom 1, teacher Jank class. it was my first time observed her class. and she was very good! good speakers, she can speak very well, her pronounciation was like native and i was have no difficult to communicate with her. she also can contoll the class very well. and her warm up activity was very good! after that teacher Jank review sentences of students. so, the sentences of today that they got everyday will be review every 2 weeks. teacher said a sentences in thai, and students have to write it down in English. every letter, capital, punctiations and their spelling must be check by teacher. it was

17 August is independence day of Indonesia. in Indonesia we usually do flag ceremony and another activities. and yes, it national day off. some institution just does flag ceremony and after that everyone can go home. but, here i am. in Thailand. no day off wkwk in the morning we did flag ceremony;flag ceremony of Thailand, and go to assembly hall like usually.  that day i was observed at Prathom 6B, teacher Petch class. students were very clever and smart, always ask question to teacher. Teacher Petch than review vocabularies of the students with dictation, so teacher Petch said some English words than students had to write it dorm on their book. after that teacher Petch was review the part of speech of students, which was said a word and let the students guess what part of speech was that. before going to main material, teacher Petch was review all the tenses that she already taught to the students, than she taught them present perfect. and did excercise that was distinguish
